Now Please direct all urgent AO referrals to the Acute Oncology (AO) team, who can be reached 0900-2100 on 07798774842. If call not answered, please retry. If you continue not to get a response or between 2100-0900/PH/weekend call NHS Lothian switchboard on 0131 537 1000 and ask for on call team for oncology
Within 24 hours

AO team can be helpful if you need to discuss/refer non urgent/signpost to site specific team. 0900-17:00 call 07798774842

If no action required but you wish to pass on information and not sure who to email the AO team may be able to help via email loth.oncall.acuteoncolgywgh@nhs.scot 

Please note that for emails involving patients, the clinical responsibility remains with the sender until you have received a response

The Acute Oncology Service at SJH is available Monday-Friday 9-5 via bleep 3060. For urgent out of hours / weekend Oncology advice please see contact information above for ECC. Non-urgent requests for patient follow up ( for Monday - Friday 9-5) can be emailed to acute oncology via loth.acuteoncologySJH@nhs.scot.
