Important: Therapy

Co-Amoxiclav oral 625mg  8 hourly

or, if IV needed: Co-Amoxiclav IV 1.2g 8 hourly

 

If penicillin allergy

Clarithromycin oral 500mg 12 hourly

or, if IV needed: Clarithromycin IV 500mg 12 hourly

Clarithromycin 500mg IV 12 hourly 

If Penicillin allergy discuss with Consultant Microbiologist
