Important: Therapy
Phenoxymethylpenicillin PO for 5-10 days (10 days if Scarlet fever)
If non responsive to Pen V - switch to Co-amoxiclav
Use IV benzylpenicillin if severe
Notes:
Add clindamycin if evidence of toxin mediated disease
Strep. pyogenes
Qunisy can be polymicrobial
