Co-amoxiclav PO
If otherwise well - oral route is appropriate. If unwell, then IV may be used
If MRSA positive add Vancomycin IV
Pre-septal/periorbital Cellulitis
Micro Organisms
Staph.aureus, Strep.pyogenes, Strep.pneumonia, Haemophilus spp.
Duration
5 - 7 days

Clindamycin PO + Ciprofloxacin PO

Contact ENT + Ophthalmology team as soon as child is admitted
Consider adding Metronidazole if no improvement within 24-48 hours
