Overview of Services

The Borders Diabetes team provide general diabetes clinics at the following sites:

• Borders General Hospital
• Eyemouth Day Hospital
• Kelso Health Centre
• Teviot Medical Practice, Hawick
• Haylodge, Peebles
• The Knoll, Duns

Most new patients are seen centrally at Borders General Hospital and review patients can be seen at an above site closer to home

We provide the following specialist services at Borders General Hospital:

• Joint diabetes/obstetric clinics
• Young person diabetes clinics
• Assessment for Type 1 diabetes technology
• Diabetes foot service in conjunction with podiatry and surgical colleagues
