Order of draw

If drawing a coagulation sample, ensure the Multifly tubing is primed to ensure a full draw, this can be done using a discard tube first.

The order of draw is as follows:

  1. White tube - blood culture
  2. Brown tube - serum/ serum gel
  3. Green tube - citrate
  4. Orange tube - heparin/ heparin gel
  5. Red tube - EDTA
  6. Blue tube - Blood transfusion
  7. Yellow tube - Fluoride
