Pre-Transplant - let's get started

Thinking about a transplant and preparing for it can be a frightening and unsettling process. We hope this information will help you understand what is going to happen and why.

When your local hospital team refer you for transplant we will send you either 

• a 7 steps booklet if you are having a transplant from a donor (including family)   or 
• information on having your own cells infused - autologous stem cell transplants

Please do read these booklets if you can before seeing us, but if you are overwhelmed don’t worry, you will have a chance to talk things through.
