Warning

The emergency contraception pill can be taken up to 5 days after sex. The sooner after sex and the earlier in a woman’s menstrual cycle it is taken, the more effective it is. The emergency contraception pill is available, free of charge, from most pharmacies, GPs as well as Sandyford.
