This toolkit complies with the RDS standard operating procedure checklist on accessible content.
The content of this toolkit and its ongoing development are managed by the CVD Steering Group.
This toolkit was signed off by the PPC Programme Board (25 Feb 2025), CVD Steering Group (26 Feb 2025) and the Workstream 2 Planning Group (19 March 2025).
Toolkit content will be reviewed and updated every 6 months. If new evidence emergences outwith the review window, the lead reviewers will be notified to review and update the content and send to RDS team for updating.
The content of the toolkit has been reviewed and approved by our clinical experts and CVD core team.
Copyright compliance has been checked and sources acknowledged appropriately.
Current national and internal guidelines, along with the most current validated research, have been systematically sourced and reviewed. This has been combined with the consensus from the clinical subject experts leading the cardiometabolic field.

A risk register has been produced and any potential risks pertaining to this toolkit have been reviewed and mitigations put in place.
Clinical user testing has been conducted with our internal clinical experts.
Second level user testing will also be conducted with key stakeholders.
