As of Monday 6th October, all Consultant Microbiology advice requests should be made by the most senior clinician in charge of patient care (e.g. Consultant, GP, SAS doctor). We regret that we can no longer accept requests for advice from other staff groups e.g. junior clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals and admin staff.
The Clinical Consultant Microbiology service hours are:
• Monday to Friday 9am-5pm: Ext 33294 or e-mail (dg.microbiologycons@nhs.scot)
• Saturday and Sunday 9am-12noon: Via switchboard ONLY
