Then:

Admit to stroke unit and following actions completed by stroke team:

• Swallow screen (if not done already in ED)
• Urgent CT scan arranged (to be done ASAP and within 12 hours at latest)
• Aspirin after CT scan has excluded bleed
• Stroke consultant review (if not had already)
• IPC
