Discharge and refer to allergy clinic

  1. Confirm history with senior doctor.
  2. Discharge home.
  3. Advise over OTC anti-histamine (e.g. citirizine, loratadine).
  4. Referral to allergy clinic:      

            a. Include history: Clinical features

                                     Time of symptom onset

                                     Time of treatments given

                                     Tryptase measurement times

                                     PMH of allergies

                                     Current medication

            b. Write ‘Allergy clinic’ on back of front sheet

     5. Email front sheet and paramedic paperwork to: katie.wilson26@nhs.scot
