Acknowledgements

The Quality of care (QoC) review guidance has been developed as a collaboration between Scottish Acute Nurse Leaders (SANL) group and Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s (HIS) Excellence in Care (EiC) programme.

We would like to thank all members of the QoC reviews and Care assurance visits (CAV) working groups, which later combined, for their commitment and engagement to create this resource.

Membership included – members of the Scottish Acute Nurse Leaders (SANL), Heads of midwifery, Board EiC clinical leads, Board professional leads with responsibility for quality and care assurance and the HIS EiC team.

We would also like to thank the Scottish Executive Nurse Director (SEND) communities of practice who provided feedback and the NHS boards who were involved in the testing of the resource.
