RDS improvements

A deployment and content freeze was planned for the morning of 25th February to: 

• Implement upgrade to Antimicrobial Calculators using a modern user interface framework, 

• Enable tracking Antimicrobial Calculator web visits in Google Analytics, 

• Enforce a specific format for each toolkit password added in the CMS (e. g. minimum length), 

• Limit password entry attempts on the website 

• Deliver various technical security improvements. 

Priorities for development at this time include continuing work on: 

• Upgrading of the RDS content management software, which will address some low and medium vulnerability issues 

• Implementing Microsoft 365 authentication for editor access. This will enable us to pull down reports of editors on an NHS Board basis. 

• Strengthening authentication for access to password-protected RDS toolkits.
