New RDS toolkits - live and in development

The following toolkits have recently gone live on the RDS - 

• Maternity standards is the latest National standards toolkit from Healthcare Improvement Scotland which can be found within the Standards Topic of the RDS along with other previously published standards toolkits. 

• Blood borne virus opt-out testing in emergency departments - This Public Health Scotland toolkit contains guidance intended to support implementation of routine Blood Borne Virus (BBV) opt-out testing in Emergency Departments (ED) implementing a consistent approach in Scotland that maximises uptake and linkage to care.

• Clinical Governance Standards is another National Standards toolkit from Healthcare Improvement Scotland. 

• Gastroenterology pathways is the latest Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) toolkit providing national guidance and referral pathways for GPs and Primary Care team members. 

• RefHelp - NHS Ayrshire and Arran - This NHS Ayrshire & Arran toolkit will support GPs/ Primary care team members to manage referrals. 

• New home node version of the Scottish Palliative Care Guidelines. This will provide this important resource with its own branding, primary and secondary navigation, and use of left-hand rather than tile-based navigation.
