RDS training and orientation

The Introduction to Right Decision Service (RDS) end-user training and orientation session help users to navigate within the site and make best use of the platform. Users are shown how to operate the search and browse functionality of the RDS, including filtering by organisation, topic and professional group.  

We would encourage you to promote the times below across your organisation to encourage uptake of use of the Right Decision Service. Our end-user sessions are scheduled for the following times: 

• Tues 14th Apr – 10am-11am 

• Thurs 14th May – 2pm-3pm 

• Tues 9th Jun – 10am-11am

When master content is shared from the shared content library, there is an option for owners/ editors of toolkits to share and customise when this is embedded. Editors will be alerted to any changes made in master content and can then decide whether to include any changes in their local copy. This enables sharing of national content and sharing across boards but allows for localisation as well. 

This session will also include an explanation of tags and toggles, masonry tiles and editorial management. 

Training sessions on shared content editing and other new editorial features will take place at the following times: 

• Wed 29th Apr – 2pm-3pm 

• Tues 19th May – 10am-11am 

• Tues 2nd Jun – 10am-11am
