The RDS redesign has introduced major improvements in the search and browse functionality of the RDS, including categorising by organisation, topic and professional group. It also includes improvements to the editorial system to make the features more consistent within Umbraco editing.
When master content is shared from the shared content library, there is a new option for owners/ editors of toolkits to share and customise when this is embedded. Editors will be alerted to any changes made in master content and can then decide whether to include any changes in their local copy. This will enable continued sharing of national content and sharing across boards but allows for localisation as well.
