In general, the Google analytics stats for the downloadable app are likely to be an underestimate of usage. It is easier to restrict data tracking from a mobile application than it is from a browser, so we get a smaller proportion of data back from the app.
To help mitigate this, Tactuum have provided us with the data below for downloads of the RDS app.
The reports show approximately 1.8k active iOS users and 2.5k active Android users, both slowly rising annually but with peaks and troughs over the year.
iOS and Android calculate downloads differently. In the second iOS link below, you will see a large spike in downloads for iOS but rather than being actual downloads, it is more likely that a free corporate license for 10k devices was acquired.
