Signs & symptoms
- Severe low back pain/ flank pain worse on exertion.
- Groin or abdominal pain- band like pain.
- Blood pressure may have started to drop.
- Palpable pulsatile mass in abdomen.
- Shortness of breath, dizziness.
- Patient appears pale/ clammy.
Risk factors
- Male over 50.
- Hypertension/ hypercholesterolemia.
- Current or smoking history.
- Family history IHD.
- Family history of AAA.
