SJH Emergency Medicine
This handbook contains a listing of relevant guidelines for various conditions that we might see in emergency medicine, and how to manage them at SJH. This is not an exhaustive guide on assessing unwell patients and practicing emergency medicine, which is outwith the scope of the handbook. The handbook does not replace clinical knowledge, experience and expertise. As always in the SJH ED, if you are unsure please discuss with a senior decision maker.
