If a patient requires a CT KUB then you should do the following:

  1. Ensure patient is safe to go home and has adequate analgesia
  2. Request CT KUB on TRAK
  3. Advise the patient to return to CT at 0845 the following morning
  4. The patient should then book back into ED after their scan

Please note that this pathway only works on weekdays.
