Acute lower GI bleed pathway

Warning

The following guidelines was written by a multi-disciplinary team, and has been approved by the Clinical Management Group, for the management of acute lower gastrointestinal bleeds throughout NHS Lothian. As a guideline, this is a general recommendation for the management of acute lower GI bleed; if there is variation due to clinical need, senior decision maker support should be sought.

The guide has been moved from the original format into the Right Decision System, however the contents of the guidelines are unchanged. The original document can be found here.
