Grab boxes

We have grab boxes in the "789 cupboard" beside resus for emergencies only. Some points of note:

1. Grab boxes are primarily for use in specific scenarios in resus for sick patients. A few are for specific less high acuity procedures performed in the ED. They are not an alternative source of stock you can't find elsewhere, so please do not open them to take out specific items.
2. If you use any of the grab boxes, they must be re-stocked straight away. Either do this yourself or ask someone to do it. It is not acceptable to leave them depleted in the cupboard or in cubicles, as has been happening.
   1. You can ask the housekeeper, or when there is no housekeeper make sure the NIC is aware
3. Please seal the boxes properly i.e tape over the blue clips, to indicate that they are checked and fully stocked.
4. The grab boxes are only to be used in the ED. Do not allow anyone to take any of the boxes or their contents for use elsewhere in the hospital (as has been happening with the LP box).
