Inappropriate referrals

If a referral has been made by another service that would have been better clinically managed not by the ED, you can do an "ED Referral Review". This is an investigation order set on TRAK that you can describe why the patient's care could have been delivered better via another pathway. These reports are reviewed regularly by Dr Jamie Bentley.
