This Food List (Formulary) is a list of prescribable gluten-free products that can be ordered by patients in the North of Scotland. It gives a wide, but not exhaustive, list of available gluten-free products.
In line with lists in other areas of Scotland, this list aims to give patients a wide selection of products while keeping the Food List (Formulary) affordable. In time, some products may be deleted from or added to the list.
Products that are labelled as wheat-free are prescribable for individuals with established gluten-sensitive enteropathies with co-existing established wheat sensitivity. Products have also been annotated as lactose, milk or soya-free, where the information is available from manufacturers.
Patients can contact manufacturers directly to request starter pack samples of items in this Formulary. See manufacturers' contact details.
