Cream (Anusol®)
Dosage:
To be applied morning and night and after a bowel movement.
Soothing haemorrhoidal preparations (Formulary: GI)
Soothing preparations may provide symptomatic relief.
Suppositories are suitable for internal haemorrhoids and proctitis whereas creams and ointments are suitable for external haemorrhoids.
