Scottish Borders Council Employability Service can assist with CVs, job searching and applications, interview skills, confidence-building, qualifications and new skills, income optimisation, local work experience opportunities, in-work support. 

Works+ Youth Borders  is an employability project based in Galashiels. They work predominantly with unemployed young people aged between 16-24. They also provide early intervention support to young people still attending school where required. Self referral can be made via the website.

Borders Sexual Health can offer advice on contraception and services, sexual health advice, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections and HIV care throughout the Scottish Borders. They offer services to men and women of all ages including under 16. Telephone: 01896 663700 between 9.00 am – 1 pm, Monday to Friday 

Health in Mind: provide practical and emotional support to help you explore your mental health and wellbeing, achieve your personal goals and develop practical coping strategies. Most of their services and support are available to those living in Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian, West Lothian, and the Scottish Borders.

One Step Borders - services cover a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, low mood, unwanted behaviours, phobias, relational issues, grief and loss.
