Candu Dundee: are a group of patients and survivors who are passionate about placing the patient at the heart of service design and delivery in cancer care and treatment. We represent the needs of cancer patients in Dundee at both a local and national level.

Developing the Young Workforce: give young people the skills and knowledge they need to transition from education to the workforce. Our employer-led initiative bridges the gap between schools, colleges, and employers across Dundee, Angus, Perth and Kinross.

Dundee Improving the Cancer Journey in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support: link workers in Dundee City, Perth & Kinross and Angus will listen to your concerns and find out what matters to you. We can discuss your options together and guide you towards the support you need. Depending on what you need and want, we can offer advice, share information, and make referrals to the right services. Support is provided over the phone, face to face in the local community or online via video calls.

Dundee Carers Centre: aims to make a difference to the lives of unpaid carers of all ages and disabled people in Dundee by giving help, advice and access to learning.

Dundee Macmillan welfare benefits service: you may need to stop working, or work less, or spend more money on things like travelling to appointments or heating at home. But depending on your situation, you may be able to get benefits or other financial support. Our Welfare Rights Advisors are here to help.

Macmillan Ardler Hub: people affected by cancer can access support and information from a number of services in a relaxed and friendly environment at The Macmillan Ardler Hub. Support includes benefits advice, complementary therapies, practical and emotional support, and the opportunity to talk to others in similar situations. Family, friends and carers supporting someone at any stage of their cancer journey can access these services.

Maggie's Dundee: with professional support for anything from treatment side effects to money worries, support free to anyone with cancer and their families who walk through our doors. You'll find Maggie's Dundee alongside NHS Ninewells Hospital Dundee and Maggie's can also support you online.

Tayside & NE Fife Children with Cancer & Leukaemia - TCCL: provides quality support to families through Grants, Psychosocial Support and Holiday Support.

Team Jak: provides practical, social and emotional support to children and young people age 0-25 with cancer and related illnesses, their family, friends and those bereaved.

Self care - mental health and wellbeing

Autism Support Perth: support gaps identified in the support of autistic children and young people up to the age of 18 and their families in Perth & Kinross. 

Circle of Comfort: is a registered Scottish charity which offers reflexology, massage or aromatherapy treatments to people in Fife and Perthshire who are living with the side effects of cancer.

Connections Autism Support Dundee: provides information and support for adults who identify as autistic, at any point of your journey. Connections’ Community Advisors provide advice and support to autistic people with or without a diagnosis, either in person or virtually. The service also provides peer support groups, and can direct you to community social activities and other support services in your local area.

The Corner: funded by Dundee Health & Social Care Partnership provides support for young people about mental health, sexual health, online safety, drugs, alcohol, smoking and more.

Feeling Strong: aims to improve the lives of young people living with mental health and wellbeing challenges by fostering the skills, confidence and aspirations they need to flourish. Using skills development, mentoring and confidence building to promote positive outcomes for young people.

Macmillan Move More Angus: is developing a programme of physical activity for people living with or beyond cancer. This will include circuit classes, gentle movement, gardening, as well as walking.

Macmillan Move More Dundee: deliver Macmillan Friendly and Move More health walks right across the city every week. All Macmillan walks are led by a trained Macmillan volunteer walk leader so walkers can benefit from cancer specific support. People living with cancer, their friends, family and carers are all welcome to join the groups. Participants can choose from a range of activities including walking groups, gentle movement, gardening and circuits-based activity classes.

Macmillan Move More Perth: is a programme of activity designed for people affected by cancer. We also encourage friends, family and carers to come along and join in with some sessions. From walking groups to circuit classes, there is something for everyone. We provide activities for all abilities so if walking or gym classes aren’t for you we can still get you active through gardening sessions and gentle movement classes.
