WheelPower has a network of spinal cord injury physical activity advisors for the UK. Within the Unit, Angie Malone is the physical activity advisor. Angie can provide information and support to inpatients, former patients and staff about physical activity opportunities and support the provision and promotion of physical activity as part of a holistic programme of rehabilitation following spinal cord injury.

Angie can help establish contacts with external organisations in order to support individuals to pursue their interests and build on their ability and talent in their chosen sport and activity.  This includes facilitating "come and try sessions" in the QENSIU, organising outings to sports facilities and events, arranging visits to local clubs and multi-sport taster days and providing former patients with up to date information about sport and physical activity opportunities in their local area.

WheelPower also have a huge range of physical activity resources for all levels of ability and seated exercise videos on their website.
