Liaison
Warning
Sally and Seonag provide outpatient support for all patients post-discharge from the spinal unit. This may be within the home environment, a clinic setting, or remotely. They coordinate and deliver spinal outreach clinics in Aberdeen, Inverness, Arbroath, Dumfries, Borders and Edinburgh. They will provide clinical support for queries related to your spinal cord injury. They are a source of advice and support for both acute and community health and social care teams. They provide education and advice for patients and healthcare professionals.
Meet the Team
Sally Prempeh began her Spinal Injuries career in 1985 in Pinderfields (Yorkshire) where she worked as a Staff Nurse and Ward Sister. She joined the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries Unit as Spinal Nurse Specialist in 1993.
Seonag Macdonald began her Spinal Injuries career in 2008 as a Staff Nurse in Edenhall HDU before taking up role of Spinal Unit Support Nurse in 2017 and then Spinal Nurse Specialist in 2022.Contact Details
