The Spinal Injuries Unit consists of:

  • Philipshill Ward, which is a rehabilitation ward
  • A Respiratory Care room within Philipshill
  • A Step Down unit which allows patients, families and friends to spend time together during their admission and to experience independent living before discharge
  • The Family Suite (located in the Step Down unit) where relatives can stay when patients are newly admitted to the Unit
  • Outpatient Department
  • Therapy area including fully equipped gym, kitchen and aqua therapy pool

The Dayroom is situated across from the main reception and has two vending machines where you can purchase snacks and cold drinks. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the courtyard and woodland garden areas. There is also an activity area within the Step Down Unit with a variety of games for in-patient use.
